Roblox Pressure: What It Is, How to Play and How to Survive (October 2026)

Roblox Pressure is a free-to-play survival horror game from Urbanshade: Hadal Division, where you hide from monsters across 100 rooms of an underwater facility called the Hadal Blacksite and try to retrieve its power Crystal, according to the official Pressure Wiki.

The one rule that keeps new players alive: when the lights flicker or you hear a warning sound, get into a locker.

This guide reflects the game after the minor update of September 26, 2026 (checked October 8, 2026). It covers PC and mobile, plus consoles where Roblox runs Pressure.

Spoiler note: this article names late-game areas and monsters but no story twists.

What is Roblox Pressure?

Pressure is a Roblox horror game where you play an Expendable, a prisoner offered freedom in exchange for a job. The job is a trip to the Hadal Blacksite, an Urbanshade research division at the bottom of the ocean.

You scoop up loose assets such as documents, USB drives and DNA vials, then go for the Crystal that powers the whole facility (official Pressure Wiki). Monsters, locked doors and environmental hazards stand in the way.

Rooms are randomly generated each run, according to Pro Game Guides (November 2024). When a monster kills you, a dossier explains what it was and how to dodge it next time (Sportskeeda, 2024).

One oddity: the Roblox game page still says the game is in alpha, even though the official wiki lists a full release in July 2024.

Is Roblox Pressure free, and what can you play it on?

Yes, Pressure is free to play. Sportskeeda (2024) says you can finish the core game without spending Robux, though optional paid items exist.

The Roblox game page says joining the Urbanshade: Hadal Division group gives a 10% discount on Dead-Drop Shop purchases.

Revives are where money shows up. The official wiki notes for the August 2024 Friendly Fire update said the second revive in a run is a Robux purchase. That may have changed since, so check the in-game shop.

Platforms: you play through the Roblox app. The official wiki says console support arrived on July 15, 2024 without naming consoles. Pro Game Guides (November 2024) lists phone, Xbox and PC.

I couldn’t confirm PlayStation or Switch support for Pressure specifically.

What happened to Roblox Pressure in May 2026?

Pressure vanished from Roblox on May 7, 2026 and came back the next day with a Restricted, 18+ label citing strong language, according to PiunikaWeb (May 8, 2026). Roblox gave no public reason.

Creator HelloItsVG later said on X that an appeal dropped it to a Moderate label (13+). Unconfirmed reports pointed to an out-of-date content maturity questionnaire as the cause.

Roblox announced in a November 2025 Developer Forum post that Restricted experiences are blocked for users under 18. So the label matters.

I couldn’t confirm the current label from Roblox itself. Check the age information on the Pressure page in Roblox before you or your kid joins.

How do you play Roblox Pressure?

A run goes room by room until you reach the Crystal. This is the order that works for new players.

1.     Wear headphones. The Roblox game page recommends headphones and graphics level 8 or above, and Sportskeeda (2024) says you usually hear a monster before you see it.

2.     Spend Kroner in the pre-run shop. Grab a light source, batteries and a Code Breacher. The official wiki says flashlights light dark rooms and Code Breachers hack locked doors.

3.     Search drawers and tables in every room for keycards, tools and Research. Keycards open locked doors (Sportskeeda, Pro Game Guides).

4.     Spot the lockers as you enter each room, so you know where to run.

5.     When the lights flicker, hide. Use a locker first, or a vent or solid cover if none is close (Pro Game Guides, 2024).

6.     If electricity blocks a door, find the circuit to switch it off. It is usually in a nearby room, sometimes through an underwater or vent route (Pro Game Guides, 2024).

7.     Spend Research in Sebastian’s Shop during the run. After a run, your payout in Kroner depends on Research collected, doors opened and how far you got (official Pressure Wiki).

8.     Read the dossier after you die. It tells you what killed you and what to listen for.

Pro Game Guides (November 2024) says the run continues past the Crystal into late areas. One is a Warehouse section after about Room 80 with Searchlights. The last is an underwater finale called The Trench, listed as Room 115.

I couldn’t re-check that layout on the current build.

How do you survive the monsters in Roblox Pressure?

Most threats announce themselves. This table covers the ones that kill new players most often.

Monster

Tell

What to do

Angler family (Pinkie, Froger, Blitz)

Flickering lights and a loud screech. Pinkie skips the flicker

Hide in a locker or under a desk. Froger comes back for a second pass, so stay put a moment

Squiddles

Found in dark rooms

Turn your flashlight off and keep your distance

Puddles of Void-Mass

Glowing eyes inside a locker

Don’t open that locker. In solo it is instant death

Pandemonium

Acts like an Angler, then starts a camera minigame in your locker

Keep the camera centered until it ends

Wall Dwellers

Creep toward you from cracks and walls

Look at them to push them back

Multi-Monster

No flicker. Static sound and a red warning line on screen

Hide within about a second

Searchlights (Volus Lunara)

Huge searchlight monster in the Warehouse

Repair generators from cover without being seen

Source for the table: Pro Game Guides (November 2024) and TheGamer (2024), with Puddles of Void-Mass solo behavior from Deltia’s Gaming. Treat it as a starting point.

Monsters change with patches. Wall Dwellers were remodeled in the March 2026 update, and the official wiki says Death Angel was renamed Harbinger and now spawns very rarely in Endless. The in-game dossier is your freshest source.

What game modes does Roblox Pressure have?

Pressure has a main run, an endless run and a modifiers mode. Here is what each does, with dates from the official Pressure Wiki update log.

Mode

What it is

Main Expedition

The 100-room run to the Crystal, then the late areas described above.

Endless Expedition

Added December 14, 2024 in the Four Point Five update. The run never ends, and Harbinger and the Educator can show up very rarely.

Modifiers

Added March 28, 2026 in Half A Slice Of Cake, with 50+ modifiers at launch. They change rules for a run. Since August 1, 2026 you can use them without beating the game first.

Endless Firewall

Added July 8, 2026 as a minor update. I couldn’t read the details of this mode from the log.

Region note: the community-run Pressure Fandom wiki says the Play An Ad modifier and Gotchapon! charm gambling are not available in the same form in every region.

Are there Roblox Pressure codes?

Yes, Pressure has redeem codes for Kroner and Revive Tokens. I’m not listing any here, because I couldn’t verify them against the official Urbanshade Discord or developer posts.

Outlets such as PocketGamer (August 2026) and iGeeksBlog (September 2026) published short lists, but a third-party list isn’t an official source. A dedicated codes article should be checked against the developer’s channels first.

How to redeem codes in Pressure

1.     Open Pressure on Roblox and wait for the lobby to load.

2.     Click the wrench (Settings) icon on the left side of the screen.

3.     Click the Codes box and type the code exactly. Codes are case-sensitive.

4.     Press Submit. Rewards land right away if the code is valid.

Steps from PCGamesN (March 2026). The official wiki confirms the Codes box sits in the settings menu.

Watch for joke codes. PCGamesN and PocketGamer both noted one that removes Kroner instead of giving it. Read the listed reward before you redeem.

New codes usually show up in the Urbanshade Discord first, per PCGamesN. The game page and the Urbanshade: Hadal Division group on Roblox are other places to check.

Is Roblox Pressure too scary for kids?

It can be. The in-game warning screen, added August 12, 2024, lists loud sounds, flashing lights and jumpscares.

It also lists mentions of suicide, schizophrenia, arachnophobia, trypophobia, thalassophobia, paranoia and distress, plus seizure risk (official Pressure Wiki).

The settings menu has accessibility options, per the official wiki (August 2024): subtitles, reduced motion, deaf mode, a reduced-epilepsy option, and a switch to turn off Angler jumpscares.

A few options needed wins when they launched, such as turning off HQ voice lines and the in-game timer. Parents can also use Roblox parental controls and the content maturity labels.

Why do so many “roblox pressure” search results look like junk?

When I searched this keyword, several results were AI-style pages on unrelated domains. They described “Roblox pressure” as physics, stress or a vague trend, and never mentioned the game.

Stick to the Roblox game page, the official Pressure Wiki and established gaming outlets. Treat any site that promises free Robux for Pressure as unverified. Redeem codes only inside the game, and never type your Roblox password into a third-party site.

Roblox Pressure FAQ

How many rooms are in Roblox Pressure?

The main expedition has 100 numbered rooms to reach the Crystal, per the official Pressure Wiki. Some 2024 guides describe an extra final area after that.

Can you play Roblox Pressure solo?

Yes. Pro Game Guides (November 2024) says you can play solo or with up to three other players. Some threats get harsher alone, like Puddles of Void-Mass, which is instant death in solo.

Is Roblox Pressure like DOORS?

It borrows the flicker-and-hide loop. The official Pressure Wiki lists DOORS as an inspiration, and Pressure adds shops, a Research economy, items and Sebastian.

Why was Roblox Pressure made 18+?

After a one-day removal on May 7, 2026, it returned with a Restricted label for strong language (PiunikaWeb, May 8, 2026). It was later reported as lowered to Moderate, but check the current label on the Roblox page.

Who made Roblox Pressure?

Urbanshade: Hadal Division, with Zeal as creator and lead developer, according to the official Pressure Wiki.
