Brawl Stars Tier List: Every Brawler Ranked (October 2026)

Brawl Stars tier list for October 2026: all 107 Brawlers ranked S to F using live win rates and the September 16 patch. See who to pick now.

Brawl Stars Tier List: Every Brawler Ranked (October 2026)

The best Brawlers in Brawl Stars in October 2026 are Wendy, Shade, Nori, Amber and Gus.

They make up the S tier of this Brawl Stars tier list, and they are the only five that rank near the top of both major stat trackers.

That holds after Supercell’s September 16, 2026 balance patch, which nerfed all five of them. The full list below covers all 107 Brawlers the trackers follow, with a reason for each pick.

Brawl Stars is a 3v3 hero shooter and MOBA from Finnish studio Supercell, released worldwide on iOS and Android on December 12, 2018, according to Wikipedia.

Applies to: Brawl-O-Ween season, balance as of the September 16, 2026 maintenance.

Platforms: iOS and Android (there is no PC or console version). Data checked: October 9, 2026.

Vince, the new Mythic Damage Dealer in Supercell’s latest release notes, isn’t ranked. Neither tracker had data on him when we checked.

Avoid if you’re pushing trophies or rank

How did we rank the Brawlers?

We combined two independent data sources and only gave S tier to Brawlers that both rate highly. Here’s the exact method, so you can check our working.

1.     Win rate (Brawl Planet). Brawl Planet sorts every Brawler into S to F bands. Its figure averages each Brawler’s win rate across the six modes used in Ranked, from regular trophy matches, with each mode weighted equally.

2.     Community vote (Brawl Time Ninja). Brawl Time Ninja runs a player-voted S to D list. It had collected 125,461 votes since September 28, 2026 when we checked.

3.     Combined score. We turned both placements into points and averaged them. The top five scores became S tier, and the rest fell into A to F by score.

4.     Sanity check. Dexerto’s October 1 list and MMO Culture’s late-September pro list both put the same five Brawlers at the top, which matches our S tier.

A Brawler is marked as a split call when one source puts them in its top two tiers and the other puts them in its bottom two. Six Brawlers get that flag this month.

Patch details come straight from Supercell’s September 2026 Brawl Stars release notes, which cover both the September 1 update and the September 16 maintenance.

Win rates move daily. Every number in this article is a snapshot from October 9, 2026.

S tier: who are the best Brawlers in Brawl Stars right now?

Wendy, Shade, Nori, Amber and Gus are the S-tier Brawlers for October 2026. All five were nerfed on September 16 and still sit near the top of both rankings.

Brawler

Brawl Planet (win rate)

Brawl Time Ninja (vote)

Why it is here

Wendy

S

A

Highest win rate in the game right now

Shade

A

S

Top assassin despite four September 16 nerfs

Nori

A

S

Elite duelist, but nerfed twice in September

Amber

A

A

Best lane and area control in the game

Gus

A

A

Healing support that also deals real damage

Wendy

Wendy is the strongest Brawler by raw win rate. Brawl Planet had her at the top of its S tier with a 65.4% win rate when we checked on October 9, 2026.

Her Super drops a Shield Generator that soaks damage for the team. Supercell cut its health, damage reduction and Super charge rate on September 1, then trimmed her shields again on September 16.

She’s still number one. In drafted Ranked, have a backup ready in case she gets banned.

Shade

Shade is the best assassin in the game right now. Brawl Time Ninja’s voters put him in S tier, and Brawl Planet has him in A.

Per Supercell’s notes, the September 16 patch cut his Super charge near enemies by 15%, raised Long Arms’ cooldown from 18s to 20s, shrank Jump Scare’s fear radius from 1000 to 600 and cut his Hypercharge Buffie bonus from 75% to 30%.

He’s weaker than he was in September, but still a top pick. He also has three Brawl Pass skins this season (Cursed Shade and its two chromas), so expect to see him a lot.

Nori

Nori is a dive assassin who wins one-on-one fights. He’s S tier in the community vote and A tier on Brawl Planet.

September 1 cut his health (3,800 to 3,500), slash damage (1,100 to 1,000) and Sushi Snack cooldown (12s to 18s). He also got a new Hypercharge, Master Fisherman, which pulls enemies in when he jumps into water.

September 16 then raised his max charge time by 25% and slowed his Hypercharge rate. He’s the S-tier pick most likely to slip after the next patch.

Amber

Amber controls space better than anyone. Her fire stream and oil puddles lock down lanes in Hot Zone and Heist, and Supercell’s own notes call out her Heist strength.

She got Buffies and reworks on September 1, then nerfs on September 16: Fire Starters barrel health dropped to 1300, Wild Flames’ oil trail went from 3s to 1s, and her Hypercharge Buffie burn fell from 500 to 240.

Gus

Gus is a support who also plays like a marksman. His spirits heal teammates, and his balloon shots chip enemies from range.

September 16 raised Knockback Spirit’s cooldown to 18s and cut Health Bonanza’s healing boost from 100% to 75%. He held his place anyway.

He’s also Super Rare, which makes him the friendliest S-tier pick for newer accounts (more on that below).

A tier: which Brawlers just miss S tier?

Griff, Starr Nova, Damian, Sirius, Mina, Cosmo, Bolt and Bibi are strong picks that fall just short of S. Two of them, Cosmo and Bolt, are split calls.

Brawler

Brawl Planet (win rate)

Brawl Time Ninja (vote)

Why it is here

Griff

B

A

Voters rank him near the top, and he shows up in high-win trios like Edgar, Emz and Griff. A slower Coin Shower (15s to 18s) on September 1 barely dented him.

Starr Nova

A

B

Tough, aggressive damage that fits into most team comps.

Damian

A

B

Wins more than most in trophy matches. Voters rate this pick a step lower.

Sirius

A

B

Same pattern as Damian: strong results, less hype.

Mina

A

B

Consistent win rate across all six Ranked modes.

Cosmo

S

C

Split call. Second-best win rate on Brawl Planet (62.2%), but voters aren’t sold. His Super makes teammates’ shots home in on the marked enemy, so he needs a team that plays around it.

Bolt

S

C

Split call. Top-three win rate from a tiny 0.54% use rate on Brawl Time Ninja. Supercell cut his acceleration by 15% on September 1.

Bibi

C

A

Community favourite for her knockback and staying power. Her win rate is only average in trophy data.

B tier: good Brawlers on the right map

B-tier Brawlers win games when the map or your skill suits them. They’re fine for climbing, just not the most efficient picks.

Brawler

Brawl Planet (win rate)

Brawl Time Ninja (vote)

Why it is here

Bo

B

B

Steady in both sources. Main attack damage went up from 640 to 700 on September 1.

Pierce

B

B

Reliable marksman numbers; best on open Bounty and Knockout maps.

8-Bit

B

B

Solid damage. His Brawl Arena damage scaling was halved, but that only affects that mode.

Kaze

B

B

High-skill assassin. Great in good hands, punishing in bad ones.

Surge

D

A

Voters love him, but his average win rate is low. Only pick him if you’ve put the hours in.

Edgar

D

A

One of the most popular Brawlers, yet his win rate sits in Brawl Planet’s D band. Popular isn’t the same as strong.

Stu

C

B

Mid-pack in both sources. Dependable filler.

Chester

C

B

Mid-pack in both sources; a tricky kit to master.

Kit

C

B

More useful attached to a teammate than as a solo carry.

Kenji

C

B

Mid-pack in both rankings.

Meg

C

B

Nerfed on September 1 and 16 (Repurpose cooldown, Force Field shield, projectile knockback). Still playable.

Emz

C

B

Strong area control in Hot Zone. Her Brawl Arena stats were cut on September 1.

Doug

B

C

Above-average win rate; voters rate him lower.

Lumi

B

C

Recall damage dropped from 900 to 800 on September 1, but she still wins in trophy data.

Moe

B

C

Wins more than voters give him credit for.

Finx

B

C

Above-average win rate despite a low community rating.

Carl

B

C

Above average in trophy data; his shield makes him forgiving.

Gray

B

C

Better results than reputation.

Ash

B

C

Tank trait Super charge from damage taken was cut 15% on September 1. Still above average.

C tier: Brawlers that need help to win

C-tier Brawlers need the right map, mode or team to pull their weight. Four of them (R-T, Hank, Juju and Gigi) are split calls that could jump up.

Brawler

Brawl Planet (win rate)

Brawl Time Ninja (vote)

Why it is here

R-T

A

D

Split call. Strong win rate, bottom-tier vote. The Recording Star Power got more damage resistance (20% to 25%) on September 16.

Hank

A

D

Split call. Health buff (5,200 to 5,500) on September 1 and good trophy results, but voters rank him near the bottom.

Juju

A

D

Split call. Buffed on September 16 (health 3,100 to 3,500, faster Super charge). One to watch.

Gigi

A

D

Split call. Good win rate, weak vote. Wait for more data.

Max

D

B

Several nerfs on September 1, including slower Super charge and longer Gadget cooldowns.

Brock

D

B

Nerfed twice in September (Hypercharge Buffie damage, Rocket Laces cooldown). Still in plenty of high-win teams.

Cordelius

D

B

His Super drags one enemy into a duel where they can’t use Supers or Gadgets. A counter-pick, not a main.

Otis

D

B

His silence shuts down aggressive Brawlers. Counter-pick territory.

Mortis

D

B

Popular dive pick with a below-average win rate. His September 1 buff was Brawl Arena only.

Spike

D

B

Middling across the board right now.

Alli

C

C

Average in both sources.

Meeple

C

C

Average in both sources.

Pearl

C

C

Average overall; needs the right map.

Nani

C

C

Average; rewards precise aim.

Nita

C

C

Simple and forgiving for new players, average at higher trophies.

Mandy

C

C

Long-range marksman; only strong on open maps.

Tara

C

C

Her Shadow Star Powers got bigger health and damage numbers on September 1. Still average.

Melodie

C

C

Buffed on September 1 (health 3,800 to 4,000, shorter Perfect Pitch cooldown) without moving much.

Ruffs

B

D

Super charge rate cut by 20% on September 1.

Mico

B

D

Decent win rate, weak vote. Very timing-dependent.

Draco

B

D

Decent win rate, low community rating.

Glowy

B

D

Wins more than the vote suggests. Small sample, so treat with care.

Chuck

B

D

Fully reworked on September 1 (four Super charges, full Super at match start), then buffed on September 16. Still settling.

Bull

E

B

Easy tank to play, but his trophy win rate is low.

Colette

E

B

10% faster Super charge on September 1, then a Hypercharge Buffie nerf on September 16.

Buzz

E

B

Voters like him; his win rate doesn’t back it up.

Fang

E

B

Same story as Buzz: good reputation, weak numbers.

El Primo

E

B

New Buffies on September 1, then Asteroid Belt and Meteor Rush nerfs on September 16.

Rico

E

B

Deadly on wall-heavy maps, but September 1 nerfs hit his Gadgets and Robo Retreat.

D tier: outclassed Brawlers

D-tier Brawlers are playable but outclassed in October 2026. Several got buffs in September that haven’t shown up in the data yet, so keep an eye on Willow, Trunk and Poco.

Brawler

Brawl Planet (win rate)

Brawl Time Ninja (vote)

Why it is here

Najia

D

C

Below average in both sources.

Lou

D

C

Slows and freezes well, but his damage is low.

Squeak

D

C

Below average in both sources.

Maisie

D

C

Faster projectiles since September 1 haven’t lifted her yet.

Frank

D

C

Huge health pool, but easy to kite.

Darryl

D

C

Below average in both rankings.

Lily

D

C

Map-dependent assassin with a below-average win rate.

Janet

C

D

Main attack damage rose from 1,000 to 1,100 on September 1. Average win rate, poor vote.

Jessie

C

D

Turret damage buffed on September 1; her Brawl Arena damage scaling was cut.

Trunk

C

D

Buffed on September 16 (ant movement speed, Super charge). Could climb.

Sam

C

D

Average win rate, near-bottom vote.

Penny

C

D

Niche turret pick for specific maps.

Lola

C

D

Her Ego now moves as fast as she does (September 1). Still niche.

Eve

C

D

Super now spawns four hatchlings instead of three, but her slow projectiles keep her down.

Sprout

C

D

Wall-building controller that only shines on certain maps.

Tick

C

D

Long-range mines; strong on specific maps only.

Ziggy

C

D

6% faster Super charge on September 1. Still niche.

Willow

C

D

Buffed on September 16 (faster reload, health 3,300 to 3,600). Watch this one.

Larry & Lawrie

C

D

Average win rate, weak vote.

Crow

F

B

Voters rate him, but his trophy win rate is bottom-tier. His September 1 buff was Brawl Arena only.

Colt

F

B

Same split as Crow: decent vote, bottom-tier win rate.

Leon

F

B

Clone Projector got a big damage buff on September 1. His win rate still lags.

Clancy

E

C

Faster reload and an easier Stage 2 since September 1. Not enough yet.

Gale

E

C

Low win rate in trophy matches.

Poco

E

C

Reworked with Buffies on September 1 and buffed again on September 16. Better than his tier in a coordinated team.

Dynamike

E

C

Fidget Spinner damage went up on September 1. Low win rate overall.

Piper

E

C

Classic sniper; only works on long, open maps.

Jae-Yong

D

D

Healing and speed buffs on September 1. Still near the bottom of the vote.

Berry

D

D

Healing support outclassed by Gus and Wendy.

Charlie

D

D

Low damage and low impact in both sources.

Mr. P

D

D

Below average in both rankings.

Buster

D

D

Buffed on September 1 (Utility Belt heal, Blockbuster damage). Still low.

Angelo

D

D

Below average in both rankings.

F tier: who are the worst Brawlers in Brawl Stars?

The weakest Brawlers in October 2026 are Bonnie, Grom, Jacky, Ollie and Gene, who sit at the bottom of both rankings. The rest of F tier is close behind.

Brawler

Brawl Planet (win rate)

Brawl Time Ninja (vote)

Why it is here

Bea

F

C

Buffed on September 1 (Rattled Hive cooldown, Super damage), but her win rate is near the bottom.

Byron

F

C

Bottom-tier win rate, though he shows up in Brawl Time Ninja’s high-win Brock, Byron and Piper trio. Team pick only.

Shelly

F

C

The starter Brawler. Fine for learning, not for climbing.

Pam

E

D

Turret health and healing buffed on September 16. Still low.

Rosa

E

D

Bottom of trophy data, yet MMO Culture’s Ranked-focused list has her in S tier. A drafted-Ranked specialist.

Sandy

E

D

His Super hides allies, which only pays off with a coordinated team.

Barley

E

D

Low win rate in both sources.

Belle

E

D

Main attack damage up from 1,040 to 1,140 on September 16. May rise.

Bonnie

Bottom of both rankings.

Grom

F

D

Bottom of both rankings.

Jacky

F

D

A Hardy Hard Hat buff on September 1 didn’t move her.

Ollie

F

D

The low-pick-rate trap (see below). Buffed on September 16, still bottom tier.

Gene

F

D

Bottom of both rankings right now.

What changed in the September 16, 2026 balance patch?

The September 16 maintenance nerfed nine Brawlers, including all five S-tier picks, and buffed nine others. Here’s what that means for the tier list.

Brawler

Change (per Supercell)

Tier impact

Shade

Super charge near enemies -15%, Long Arms 18s to 20s, Jump Scare radius cut, Hypercharge Buffie bonus 75% to 30%

Still S, trending down

Wendy

Spawn shield, main attack shield, Solar Shield and Hypercharge turret all reduced

Still the best by win rate

Nori

Max charge time +25%, Hypercharge rate 50 to 28

Most at risk of dropping

Amber

Fire Starters barrel health to 1300, oil trail 3s to 1s, Hypercharge Buffie burn 500 to 240

Still S

Gus

Knockback Spirit cooldown to 18s, Health Bonanza 100% to 75%

Still S

El Primo, Meg, Colette, Brock

Gadget, Star Power and Hypercharge Buffie nerfs

Now sit in B or C

Juju, Willow, Trunk

Health and Super charge or reload buffs

Likely risers

Poco, Pam, Belle, Ollie, Chuck, R-T

Healing, damage or utility buffs

Too early to call

Why do Brawl Stars tier lists disagree so much?

Tier lists disagree because they measure different things: win rate, player votes, pro opinion or Ranked drafts. None of them is wrong. They just answer different questions.

Win rate vs community vote

Brawl Planet measures who actually wins trophy matches. Brawl Time Ninja measures who players think is strong. Cosmo is the clearest example: S tier on win rate, C tier on the vote.

The low-pick-rate trap

Ollie had a 72.6% adjusted win rate on Brawl Time Ninja when we checked, from a use rate of just 0.28%. He’s still in the bottom tier of both main rankings.

Rarely picked Brawlers are often played by one-tricks who know them inside out. Their win rate says more about the player than the Brawler. Brawl Time Ninja adjusts for small samples with a Bayesian average, but the effect doesn’t vanish.

Brawl Arena has its own balance numbers

Supercell’s September 1 notes included Brawl Arena-only nerfs to Bolt, Wendy, 8-Bit, Nori, Brock, Jessie and Emz. Those don’t touch Gem Grab or Brawl Ball.

If a tracker mixes Brawl Arena into its overall win rate, those Brawlers can look better or worse than they really are in standard modes. Brawl Planet avoids this by only counting the six Ranked modes.

Trophy ladder vs drafted Ranked

Ranked has picks and bans, and teams coordinate. That’s why MMO Culture’s Ranked-weighted list puts Rosa in S tier while Brawl Planet’s trophy data puts her near the bottom.

Stale lists

Some of the top-ranking tier lists we checked hadn’t been updated since June 2026, before Cosmo and both September patches. Always check the date and patch at the top of any list.

What are the best Brawlers for each game mode?

Wendy, Amber and Gus cover the most modes, while Shade is the best single pick for Showdown. These are our picks based on the tiers above and each Brawler’s kit. The specific map still matters more than the mode.

Mode

Best picks

Why

Gem Grab

Wendy, Gus, Cosmo

Shields and healing keep the gem carrier alive; Cosmo’s Super helps the team focus one target.

Brawl Ball

Wendy, Nori, Bibi

Team shields, a duelist who wins the midfield, and knockback to clear the goal.

Hot Zone

Amber, Gus, Emz

Area denial keeps enemies out of the zone.

Heist

Amber, Nori, Griff

Sustained or burst damage to melt the safe.

Knockout

Shade, Gus, Pierce

No respawns, so range, sustain and picks win rounds.

Bounty

Gus, Pierce, Bo

Safe range and control; dying gives away stars.

Solo Showdown

Shade, Starr Nova, Bibi

Brawlers who can take a fight alone and escape.

Which Brawler should beginners and F2P players upgrade first?

Upgrade the highest-tier Brawler you already own before chasing new ones. A levelled A-tier pick beats an under-levelled S-tier one.

If you’re building from scratch, here’s how to spend sensibly under the new Brawler Blast system:

1.     Check your next rarity. Brawler Blast unlocks rarities in a set order. Open the Brawler Blast section of your Brawler Collection to see which rarity is next.

2.     Know the costs. Supercell lists Rare at 160 Credits, Super Rare at 430, Epic at 925, Mythic at 1,900, Legendary at 3,800 and Ultra at 5,500.

3.     Aim for Gus early. He’s Super Rare and S tier. You can’t pick him directly, because Brawler Blast chooses from up to 10 unowned Brawlers of that rarity, but there’s a 50% chance you’ll be offered a choice.

4.     Wait on split calls. Don’t pour Coins and Power Points into Cosmo or Bolt until the data settles.

5.     Ignore rarity as a power signal. Gus (Super Rare) is S tier, and plenty of Legendaries sit in C or below.

Is Vince in the Brawl Stars tier list?

No. Vince isn’t ranked because neither tracker had any data on him when we checked on October 9, 2026.

Confirmed by Supercell: Vince is a Mythic Damage Dealer. Caterpillars spawn near him and turn into moths for his collection when he hits or walks over them, and he loses half his collection when defeated.

His Super, Barista Barrage, applies a Caterpillar debuff that makes his main attacks hit harder on that target.

Not confirmed: his exact release date and the details of any early-access event. Third-party sites have reported both, but Supercell’s release notes don’t give a date. Treat early “Vince tier” claims as guesses.

Brawl Stars tier list FAQ

Who is the best Brawler in Brawl Stars right now?

Wendy is the best Brawler in Brawl Stars as of October 2026. She had the highest win rate on Brawl Planet (65.4%) when we checked, even after two rounds of September nerfs.

Is Shade still good after the nerf?

Yes. Shade is still S tier after the September 16 nerfs to his Super charge, Gadgets and Hypercharge. He’s trending down, though, so keep a backup assassin like Nori ready.

What is the best Brawler for beginners?

Gus is the best pick for most beginners because he’s S tier and Super Rare, so he’s reachable early through Brawler Blast. Nita is a simpler option if you want a forgiving Brawler to learn the basics.

How often does the Brawl Stars tier list change?

The tier list can shift every couple of weeks. Supercell shipped two separate balance passes in September 2026 alone, on September 1 and September 16.

Brawl Stars also has the budget for that pace. Supercell said in February 2025 that its six games brought in almost $3 billion in 2024, up 77% on the year before, as reported by Bloomberg.

Does Brawler rarity affect how strong they are?

No. Rarity only changes how many Credits a Brawler costs in Brawler Blast. Gus is Super Rare and S tier, while several Legendary Brawlers sit in C tier or lower.
